Easts Rugby Club in Rose Bay warmly welcomes women of all ability levels and experiences to join us in playing rugby in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

 

Currently, we have two XVs teams competing for the Chikarovski Cup with matches held on Saturday afternoons from early April to late August at Woollahra Oval, Rose Bay.

 

For those with aspirations to advance, there is a clear pathway from Easts Rugby to higher levels of competition, including the Chikarovski Cup (women's NRC), Super W, AON 7s, and ultimately representing Australia. Many of our players have competed beyond club level, showcasing the strong talent within our Eastern Suburbs squad.

 

At Easts, we believe in equality and ensure that our Women's team has access to the same top-tier facilities and coaching resources as our men's teams, reflecting our commitment to support and develop female athletes at all levels.

 

Head Coach Campbell Aitken holds Level 4 accreditation with experience across the full Women's rugby pathway, having coached the NSW Waratahs Super W and led the Easts XV Women's program to Grand Final success. He has consistently developed girls and women from grassroots through to elite representation, with several of his players progressing to Wallaroos honours.
