Colts Match Reports | Easts v Warringah | 22nd June 2019

1st Colts Easts v Warringah W 19 - 18

The 1st Colts played some of their better rugby this weekend with more intent and some flowing rugby. However, once again we put pressure on ourselves with errors when we were in a good position. After opening a 19-3 lead we were scrapping for our lives with some desperate defence in the end to hold on to a 1 point victory. We look forward to a trip to Manly next week.

2nd Colts Easts v Warringah W 26 - 17

Another tough but important win for the 2nds in a scrappy match. Warringah were really phyiscal and up for the challenge. This lead to a number of errors and the ball turning over in a number of places but we were able to control the game and come away with another bonus point victory.

3rd Colts Easts v Warringah W 39 - 5

The 3rds are finding the out that they need to stick to what has been working for them. When they play direct rugby they are a real handful and hard to stop. The challenge for them at the moment is the level of consistency in the way they play. When we score an early try or two we become a little bit lateral and thats when we lose or direction. However, saying that it was another victory but it took some late tries to make it look like an easy victory.
