Colts Match Reports | Easts Colts v Gordon

Ben Staunton, Director of Colts

1st Colts Easts v Gordon L 19 - 43

Another tough fixture and it the small 1% things that are really hurting us and the small errors we make we seem to get punished straight away and end up behind the post. We had moments where we play some brilliant rugby and but we found away to release the pressure on them. It was a better performance than the weeks before and hopefully this weekend we can keep working on our wide game against Eastwood. MOM Liam Rayner.

2nd Colts Easts v Gordon L 19 - 43

This was a tough and bruising fixture and it was a shame we have lost a couple of players with injuries this weekend. The 2nds have been on a great roll and this fixture was maybe one to many. Gordon played a style which caused some damage and we will learn from it.

3rd Colts Easts v Gordon W 17 - 14

This was a tight game with the result being confirmed after the bell with a penalty. It was brilliant to see the quality and the competition in this game. This will set the boys up for the finals period which is fast approaching. MOM Vincent Reilly.

4th Colts Easts v Easts 5th Grade W 46 - 19 Pauli Taumoepeau, Director of Rugby

The boys were able to out ethuise the Grade boys and put on a real quality show. There were some champagne rugby moments but the main aspect of the game was the spirit of the game. Even though the Colts finally ran away with the result it was a really tough hit out for both teams. MOM Lachlan Sharp.
