This Saturday, 25th May, the Grade teams and the Womens 15-aside team are playing Western Sydney Two Blue (formerly Parramatta) at Lidcombe Oval (match details below). Western Sydney Two Blues are using the day as their "Starlight Round" in support of Westmead Childrens Hospital. While the day is not a fundraiser, WSTB's are asking that anybody attending the game, which includes players, football staff and spectators, bring along a toy which can then be passed onto the Childrens Hospital. As you can imagine, being in hospital is difficult for anybody, but for a child it can be distressing and traumatic. The toys are used to make the childrens' burden a little lighter. Our club is making a sizable donation of toys and we ask that anybody attending bring a toy with them to be passed on to the Childrens Hospital. The value or size of the toy doesn't matter. WSTB were amazed at the Easts response to this last year, so let's not disappoint them this year.
