John was appointed to the board at the 2011 AGM. John’s children have played down at Easts over the last ten years hence John has been active with the Bays Junior Club. Being a non ex Easts player John brings a refreshing approach and ideas to the board. John was elected President at the 2014 AGM after serving as Vice President of House since 2011.

Sam has had a long association with Easts for over 20 years having played junior rugby for Bays. Sam’s background is in television advertising, sponsorship and rights having worked at both Foxtel and the Seven Network in various roles and across numerous sports including; Australia Football League (AFL), Rugby League World Cup, V8 Supercars, Australian Open Tennis, Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and the Rio 2016 Olympics. Sam is currently the Sydney Sales Director at Broadsheet Media and also serves as the Vice-President of the Wentworth Federal Electoral Conference.

Nathan was appointed to the board at the 2018 AGM. Nathan played at Easts from 2001-2012 being Club Captain in 2009. Nathanplayed in 5 lower grade Grand finals during that time, winning 4 in 2002, 2009, 2010 & 2011. Nathan also has 3 children 2 of whom are currently in the juniors program through Bays Rugby. Away from Easts, Nathan has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and is currently CEO of ASI Solutions, a national I.T. Systems Integrator.
Giles’ connection with Easts Rugby goes back to 1976, when he played Colts. Two of his three sons played for Easts. One played Colts and the other played Grade. Giles has been a member of the club for some years. Giles’ professional background is in the area of restructuring and insolvency. He is a chartered accountant and senior partner of Woodgate & Co. Today, much of Giles’ work comprises business improvement and advisory work. In the listed space, Giles was a director of the Environmental Group Limited during 2013 to 2014. Since November 2017 he has been a director of GDI Property Group Limited.
Giles is honoured to be making his contribution to the iconic Easts rugby club.

Vince first became involved at Easts in the early 80’s. Although his playing career saw him involved in the Sydney sub-district competition he has always been a passionate Easts devotee. As a Chartered Accountant in public practice with over 25 years experience he was the obvious choice from the board to take on the role as Treasurer.

Peter's association with Easts goes back to the dinosaur era when he was ball boy for 5 years in the late 1950’s.
He was a member of the famous Vaucluse Boys High 2nd XV in 1967 and went onto to captain the Easts Under 16’s in the mid 1960’s.
He soon realised as a rugby player he was a good yachtsman. He was long time board member in the 1990s and 2000 eras and was twice Easts clubman of the year. A passionate Easts man.

David played Rugby at Newington College from 1962 – 1968. He was Club Captain at Macquarie University in 1972 when they won all the grades in 2nd Division. David was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Seven Media Group in December 2006 and had been Chief Executive Officer of Broadcast Television for Seven Network Limited since April 2003 and remains a consultant for the Seven Network. Previously, 24 years with the Nine Network, with 11 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nine Network.

Kate has had a long association with rugby, beginning at a very young age with her watching her father play. She has remained a passionate supporter of the game and her son now plays for Bays, one of the clubs that make up Easts Juniors. Kate has been on the Bays committee since 2012 in the capacity of Public Officer and Secretary. Kate’s “day” job has been in investment banking for nearly 30years and she is currently working at the NAB. Kates role on the Easts Board is that of Junior – Senior club liaison she is also VP of our junior club the Bays. Kate will act as a communicator between the junior and senior clubs and will work to ensure that there is a mutually supportive and close working relationship between the clubs.
Taleah began her association with Easts Rugby as a young child on the sidelines watching her father Easts stalwart Ben Neowhouse play. With Ben’s passing in 2012, Taleah wanted to give back to the club her father loved and now actively participates on the board looking after all merchandise, events and as the clubs member protection officer. Taleah has always had a passion for community sport, making a career out of it where she currently works with Football Federation Australia.

Pauli has had a wealth of experience in both playing and coaching. Pauli captained Easts 1st Grade and represented Easts in 54 matches, previous to this he represented Australia in Schoolboys and Barbarians as well as holding contracts at Yokogawa (Japan Top League) and the ACT Brumbies (Super Rugby). More recently in coaching Pauli has been involved with St. Joseph's, Newington, Scots, Cranbrook and St. Andrew's schoolboy programs. In 2015 Pauli took up the role of NSW Country Eagles development coach alongside his coaching role at Easts.

Tim Stewart - Club Chaplain - 0405 504 025
The chaplain is a support role to all players and staff within the East Rugby Club. The role provides personal and practical support to coaches and support staff in achieving match-readiness and also helps to strengthen connections within the East's family.
Tim is available to contact at any time during the week and is usually around at training and on match day. Tim has experience in youth work, sports coaching and corporate leadership.
Tim is a member of Sports Chaplaincy Australia Incorporated.
Career and Education Pathways Program
A unique, bespoke service that assists secondary students and parents to navigate the further education sector. Includes: initial one-hour face-to face consultation, follow-up and individualised research and investigation.
The aim of this service is:
to develop a further education plan, individualised for the student
to support the decision making process for placement of a student in a tertiary level course or other course that meets their needs and enables them to develop their knowledge, skills and attributes.
